Federal Chancellery releases tools for publishing open source software
Bern, 2.10.2024 - The federal authorities are required to publish the source code of software that they develop or have developed to fulfil their tasks. This requirement is stipulated in Article 9 of the Federal Act on the Use of Electronic Means to Carry Out Official Tasks (EMOTA). The offices themselves are responsible for implementation. The Federal Chancellery has developed tools to help them meet that requirement.
